There's trouble in bentoland.  The kiddo took the fancy bento box to school for exactly two days before he lost it.  Yes, that's right.  Two whole trips of coolness to the lunchroom and the bento box is gone.  No where to be found.  Oh, wait, its in that black hole / vortex of no where that all things go that he loses.  For example, the note from the teacher that I was supposed to receive on Friday.  Poof!  Gone.  The mailbox key.  Poof!  Gone.

I am going to make him suffer for a reasonable amount of time.  He will be subjected to standard issue public school cafeteria food.  Then I will resurrect the bento box tradition (two bento box meals makes a tradition, right?).  Only this time I will use two cheap plastic food storage containers from the grocery store versus a fancy bento box.  He's just going to have  to suffer.  :(
